As a group experiment on finding new ways of graphical representation for existing architect houses in Berlin, during the elective "Small Houses of Berlin" each student was given a house to study it and find a way to draw it which fit with its particular qualities and expressed its essence best.
Probably the most characteristic feature of the Neuer Pavillon in Charlottenburg by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, is its cubic nature and its symmetry in facade and plan, which is why I chose a four-sectioned axonometric to emphasize these distinctive attributes. A second feature that I wanted to underline, is the delicate details and colors of the facade and the interiors which contrast the sobriety of the geometry of the building. To do this I chose the front quarter of the axonometric drawing to be zoomed in and viewed from the bottom, which conceptualizes the lightness of the materiality and details.
Como un experimento grupal para buscar nuevas formas de representación gráfica para casas de arquitectos conocidos en Berlín, durante la electiva "Small Houses of Berlin" a cada estudiante se le daba una casa para estudiar y encontrar una manera de dibujarla que encajara con sus cualidades particulares y expresara su escencia de la mejor manera.
Probablemente el rasgo más característico del Neuer Pavillon en Charlottenburg de Karl Friedrich Schinkel, es su naturaleza cúbica y su símetría en fachada y planta, por lo que elegí un axonométrico en cuatro secciones para enfatizar estos atributos tan distintivos. Una segunda característica que quise resaltar, fueron los delicados detalles y colores de la fachada y los interiores, que contrastan con la sobriedad de la geometría del edificio. Para esto elegí que el cuarto frontal del axonométrico estuviera más acercado que el resto y visto desde debajo, lo que conceptualiza la ligereza de la materialidad y los detalles.
